Take part in an evening powerful enough to change the course of someone’s life

The SleepOut has become a highlight of Turning Tides' fundraising calendar. On 26 October, we’re asking you to swap your bed for a night in a sleeping bag with just a cardboard shelter over your head. The funds you raise could save a life.

The SleepOut has become a highlight of Turning Tides' fundraising calendar.   On 26 October, we’re asking you to swap your bed for a night in a sleeping bag with just a cardboard shelter over your head.  The funds you raise could save a life.

How? By raising money to give people the opportunity to start their journey out of homelessness, and change their life forever.

Someone like Sam, who was helped by Turning Tides when he became homeless. He says: “Turning Tides provided a platform for me to succeed. Without them, I don’t think I would be here. I certainly wouldn’t be the person I am today.”

Once again it’s being held at Worthing Fire Station.  Suitable for all ages, you’ll hear at first hand from people who have experienced homelessness and the frontline workers who support them.  You can make a shelter, have the opportunity to watch fire station activities, and talk to the firefighters. A warm and nutritious meal is provided, and to round off the night, there will be compelling storytelling from the Ropetackle Storytellers.

I truly hope you'll consider joining us for this meaningful event. Your participation and support could make a profound difference in the lives of those in need within our community.
