We invite you to join us on 8th May at Ansty Sports Club where complimentary refreshments will be served on arrival.
We know that 7 million women in Britain are aged 45 to 60 and are likely to be approaching or experiencing symptoms the menopause. Women over 50 are the fastest growing group in the workplace. We know that 60% of women say that their symptoms affect their work, and 1/10 women have left a job due to menopausal symptoms.
This is a key workplace issue that everyone needs to be aware of, but many employers do not feel well equipped to support women going through the menopause at work. Understanding the symptoms and impact of menopause is important for employers, managers and employees.
Dr Zoe Schaedel and Dr Olivia Hum are British Menopause Society accredited Menopause Specialists and the co-Founders of Myla Health, an organisation that treats and supports women with menopausal symptoms, as well as providing corporate education and training. They will take you through definitions and symptoms, and how to manage symptoms with or without HRT. They will look at how menopause might affect you, your colleagues or employees in the workplace.
