Kreston Reeves advise Greek broadcaster and entertainment company on UK acquisition

Kreston Reeves and Kreston Global member firm Hellenic Auditing have advised Frontstage Entertainment Group on its acquisition of a stake in Digital Minds.

Based in Greece, Frontstage Entertainment Group is the country’s leading broadcaster Radio and Events group, operating five of its most popular radio stations and staging (and producing) music, cultural and corporate events. The Group also provides top quality recording services for the production of podcasts, audiobooks, voiceovers and advertising.

Digital Minds is a UK digital media company that specialises in the creation, management and distribution of digital content across leading platforms. With a focus on digital distribution, influencer marketing, social media management and content marketing, it collaborates with top brands, content owners and creators to maximize their digital presence through innovative technology.

The acquisition creates an integrated creative and media hub for brands, content owners and content creators across the UK and Europe.

The Kreston Reeves team was led by Corporate Finance Director Craig Dallender, supported by Sakshi Gupta (Manager) and Rachel Pierce (Assistant Manager). The financial due diligence provided by Hellenic Auditing was led by Andreas Tsamakis.

Craig Dallender said: “We are delighted to have worked alongside the Frontstage Entertainment Group and Hellenic Auditing teams on this deal. It is a strategic partnership that will help both businesses grow in the UK and across Europe.

“We are seeing an increase in cross-border corporate finance transactions, and as part of the Kreston Global network we are well placed to work to work with businesses wherever they may be located.”

Alexandra Daskalopoulos, CEO, Frontstage Entertainment Group, said: “Our decision to take a stake in Digital Minds is based on the complementary nature of our services needed to cover the ever-increasing requirements of our clients for content creation and brand communications. It was further solidified through our common values and shared corporate culture. We are convinced that this partnership will bring significant benefits for our companies, our clients and our people.

“We are also grateful to the teams at Kreston Reeves and Hellenic Auditing for their time advice and support to ensure this deal progressed smoothly.”
