Do you 'unknowlingly' support the modern day slave trade?

Have you ever asked yourself how and why some Solar Energy firms can fit your system at such widely low cutthroat prices?

The Solar PV industry in the UK is saturated with unethical firms guaranteeing to “beat any quote” (don’t delay buy today deals), undercutting any competitor by a considerable margin, etc.

Jump on Google, type in cheap Solar PV systems UK, and see for yourself. You’ll see systems fully supplied and installed for around £3800, which is around 50% less than the average market value.

How can that be possible . . . ethically?

Don’t buy the “we buy in bulk” BS answer. Sure, they bulk buy unethically procured products and equipment.

If you have ever found yourself wondering why, when obtaining a handful of quotes for a Solar PV system to be supplied and installed, some quotes come in considerably cheaper, perhaps it is time to do appropriate due diligence.

We never, EVER, sell on price. That’s because we’re not the cheapest by supporting the global modern slave trade, being an accessory to some of the worst human suffering and exploiting the most vulnerable, in order to win business and profit on the back of this archaic and appalling illegal industry.

Harsh, even controversial, perhaps, but feel free to challenge me about how it is OK to support unethical procurement in order to secure business and make profit off the back of forced labour.

Can you be 100% certain that the Solar PV system you have installed or in the process of installing, complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We, at Electrotec Power Solutions Ltd, take solar PV energy ethical procurement extremely seriously and fully in support of and compliant with the ‘Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement’ in relation to Section 54(1), Part 6 of the ‘Modern Slavery Act 2015’.

As such, due to its vigorous and unconditional ethical procurement policies, I’m proud to announce that we’re in the process of onboarding British company, UKSOL Ltd as a new supplier to Electrotec.
