You love Hedgehogs!
A few weeks ago we asked you to vote for your favourite mammal, and with 25% of the votes, the Hedgehog was the clear winner. In 2nd place was the Fox, and in 3rd place the Badger.
There were some wonderful comments about why you loved Hedgehogs, with many people commenting on their concern around declining numbers.
"I have always loved seeing Hedgehogs. It's important to play a part in their survival so that future generations are able to enjoy them too."
In the past ten years, Hedgehog numbers have dropped by 40% in the UK and they are now vulnerable to extinction. If you are able to, please consider joining Sussex Wildlife Trust today. Your monthly gift will make a real difference in helping secure a better future for Hedgehogs and other precious wildlife in Sussex.
