MHA Carpenter Box shortlisted in Sussex Business Awards

Sussex-based chartered accountancy firm MHA Carpenter Box has recently been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories of the Sussex Business Awards, the most sought-after accolade by organisations of all sizes across the region.

The firm has been shortlisted for the CSR Excellence Award, which celebrates business excellence and innovation in CSR across a broad range of disciplines. They are also a finalist in the Company of the Year category, an award not directly entered but chosen by the judges from businesses entering SME of the Year and Large Business of the Year. The winner is crowned because they have excelled in every part of the awards criteria.

MHA Carpenter Box actively seek opportunities to improve the environment and contribute to the well-being of staff and the communities they serve. Their own Charitable Foundation has made a huge difference to local charities and community projects through contributing tens of thousands of pounds to those in need.

The firm's approach to adding value above and beyond that added by their peers has given them a reputation for excellence. As a major employer in the region, they help to shape large parts of Sussex for the better by supporting the strategy formulation for the Coast to Capital LEP, the Adur & Worthing Business Partnership, Coastal West Sussex and local authorities.

MHA Carpenter Box Managing Partner, Alan Edwards, commented: "To be shortlisted in both categories is a real credit to the fantastic work that our dedicated staff across three offices in Worthing, Gatwick and Brighton work so tirelessly to achieve."

The team at MHA Carpenter Box will now have to wait until 5 December when the final awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.
